EPSON G20-A01SR ceiling mount scara robot grabs cases of liquids and re-orients them in the correct direction for a downstream palletizing operation.
EPSON RS3 robot showing how fast it moves.
EPSON PS3L long reach 6-axis robot uses Vision Guide to find parts on an incoming conveyor and load them into a box.
EPSON Robots display at MOTEK ’09. The display shows G1, G3, G6 & G20 scara robots working with a RS3 spider robot and a C3 6-axis robot.
EPSON G6-653 scara robot is used to load, cut, perforate and score proof sheets used by the graphical printing industry. These proof sheets are run in small batches so that the graphics company can show their customer what a finished product will look like. The robot is equipped with Epson Vision Guide to locate & pick up the sheet. The robot motion was created by converting CAD data into robot points.
EPSON C3 ceiling mount, 6-axis robot simulating the transfer of laboratory well plates between 3 different stations.
Two EPSON G3 scara robots use vision to locate parts on a continuously moving conveyor. When the parts move into their work envelopes, each robot picks parts off the conveyor. Both robots use EPSON’s Vision Guide Conveyor Tracking option available on the RC620 PC-based controller.
EPSON E2C351S scara robot loads parts into a machining fixture. The non-fixtured parts are presented on a moving conveyor requiring use of EPSON’s Vision Guide Conveyor Tracking option to find the parts, pick them up and place them into a machining fixture.
EPSON E2L653 scara robot working in a lab automation environment. The robot transfers FTA blood cards to various work stations.
EPSON E2L653 scara robot working in a lab automation environment. The robot moves petri dishes to multiple workstations.
Two EPSON scara robots work in a loss-prevention cell. The robots apply UV-cured adhesive to the outside edges of a plastic package. Upon leaving the robot workcell the plastic container enters a PartnerPak UV-Light tunnel that cures the adhesive and seals shut the package. A sealed package provides outstanding loss-prevention protection for the high-value contents.
The EPSON G1 Mini-scara robot is the newest member of the EPSON G Series robots. With a reach of 176 or 225 mm and repeatabilities down to 5 microns, the G1 is ideal for applications that require high precision and/or a very small footprint. Both G1 models have an outstanding range of horizontal motion.
This video shows the entire EPSON factory automation product line. Scara robots. 6-axis robots. Linear axes. Vision guidance. Conveyor tracking.
EPSON RS3 robot equipped with a servo gripper moves petri dishes and test tubes around a demo workcell. The zero interference work envelope means the robot can access parts from any direction.
The RS3 is showing how it allows for multiple pallets to be spread across the entire work envelope, maximizing the use of valuable floor space. It demonstrates high speed transfer using shortest movements possible. We are demonstrating the ability to shuttle in multiple components in pallets to assemble a single part. The base design allows for additional processing stations to be bolted up to the system. Not shown but included would be a screw driving system, a pressure testing system and a labeling system. The robot is using vision guidance to determine the exact location of the sub-components for assembly….
In this video we will study about EPSON New Mini SCARA and Compact 6 Axis Robots.
Two EPSON robots show off their capabilities at the 2010 Lab Automation Show in Palm Springs, California. The ISO 3 cleanroom C3 Compact six-axis robot uses Vision Guide to pick up pipettes from a conveyor belt and place them into a rack. The G1 mini-scara is doing a liquid filling simulation.
The NEW EPSON G1 Mini SCARA doing a liquid filling simulation.
EPSON PS3L long reach 6-axis robot picks up a copper valve blanks out of a pallet and loads them into a machine tool. The same robot unloads a machined part and places it into the pallet. Using a robot eliminated the risk of operators being injured loading & unloading the machine. The cell is designed to run unmanned on 24 hour shifts.
