Watch how Landon Meier, president and creator at Hyperflesh, brings the production of his disturbingly realistic masks into the digital age with LulzBot 3D Printers.
In this video we’re using common household chemicals to achieve interesting oxidation effects for finishing metal-bearing 3D printed parts. Magnetic Iron PLA, bronzeFill, copperFill, and brassFill can be oxidized to achieve an aged appearance through the use of polishes and cleaning agents.
In this video we’ll show you hot swapping techniques, tips, and tricks to achieve multi-color 3D prints with a single extruder. Use the latest Cura 2 LulzBot Edition Beta to get a sneak peek at upcoming features, including the updated pause behavior required for this tutorial. Update your firmware to v184.108.40.206 through the Cura 2 LulzBot Edition Beta for the updated pause behavior. Note: the latest firmware in Cura 2 LulzBot Edition Beta is designed to work best with Cura 2.
3D print with total geometric freedom with the new LulzBot TAZ Dual Extruder v3 Tool Head. Engineered with a focus on printing with dedicated water-soluble support materials, the v3 Dual Extruder enables complex geometry, freeing you to focus on the function of your design rather than on how to make it 3D printable.
These LulzBot TAZ 6 3D Printers have been practicing their harmony for months. We didn’t have the heart to tell them they can’t sing. For this video we created MIDI files that play the iconic holiday classic “Jingle Bells” in three part harmony. The files are played on the LulzBot TAZ’s X, Y, and Z-axis stepper motors using a MIDI to G-Code converter.
The LulzBot TAZ Dual Extruder v3 Tool Head features a fully-constrained filament path for better performance with more materials. The filament loading process is different than on other LulzBot Tool Heads, but if you follow these steps, you’ll find it’s just as simple. Engineered with a focus on printing with dedicated water-soluble support materials, the v3 Dual Extruder enables complex geometry, freeing you to focus on the function of your design rather than on how to make it 3D printable.
