Repair holes in COLOURED 3D mesh files with Meshmixer! Tutorial – 2015

There are a lot of ways to fix bad mesh files for printing, but what if the mesh file has colour data?

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to use the Erase and Fill feature in Meshmixer to repair holes and gaps, while blending in surrounding colours for great looking, full colour 3D prints.

Be sure to subscribe for the Advanced Series of 3D Scan editing where we’ll combine this technique with several more difficult steps to fix a very bad actual 3D Scan and preserve it’s colour at the same time.
