Robolab Technologies awarded as Best ICT Start-Up in India by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, ASSOCHAM, and ERICSSON

ICT Start-Ups award is an annual ASSOCHAM initiative to promote innovation through the recognition and reward of outstanding ICT innovations. The initiative was established in 2016 by ASSOCHAM in collaboration with Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India and ERICSSON. It provides a platform to showcase their outstanding ICT innovations.

Robolab Technologies was awarded as the Best ICT Start-Up in India by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, ASSOCHAM, and ERICSSON for its unique and innovative offerings in the domain of robtics, rapid prototyping, internet of things, tinkering labs etc.

India must become a major center for data analysis and cybersecurity initiatives said Minister for Law and justice, Electronics and IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad. In his chief guest address at the 2nd ASSOCHAM -ERICSSON ICT Start-up awards at New Delhi, he urged start-ups to find opportunities in these sectors. The new technology would bring new jobs, he said. He also revealed the government’s mission to make the Indian digital economy a $ 1 trillion dollar economy.

Global Vice President- IPR Policy, Ericsson, Monica Magnusson acknowledged the crucial role of Intellectual Property Rights in safeguarding startups. this is an important step to commercialize businesses, she said. She then introduced the ASSOCHAM ERICSSON Start-up awards as an initiative encouraging ICT innovation in India.

Other distinguished delegates who addressed the gathering included; Managing Director, Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer, IIT, Dr Anil Wali; Scientist F, Director, Ministry of Electronics and IT, Dr. A.K. Garg; Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Export Commercial and Marketing- Jindal Stainless Ltd. Gaurab Chowdhury; Sr. advisor ASSOCHAM, Dr Arvind Kumar; Chairman, ASSOCHAM MSME Council, Manguirish Pai Raiker and President, ASSOCHAM Sandeep Jajodia amongst many others.
